看法將決定結果。
你所看見的會影響並決定
你將會變成什麼。
因此要更加謹慎你所看的。
例如，我們每天在媒體中所看到的，
很多是毫無價值和虛假的。
它並不來自於神，神是真理；
它卻來自撒但和世界。
它並不長存，盡是虛空。

請看神的話語。那是真理。
那是神的寶藏。它將永遠長存。
當我們以神的話來充滿我們的生命時，
我們會對抗虛假。
當我們轉眼於聖經各頁，
我們就在真理和價值中成長，
並且與永恆接觸。

你可能會說：電視只是無害的娛樂。
但是許多你觀看的，正在進入你的理智和心，
使你變得低廉、虛假、無價值而短暫。
這個世界所提供的，有太多是

不要把你的生命建造在這世界的根基上。

Outlook determines outcome.
What you are seeing helps to
determine what you are becoming.
So you‵d better be careful what you look at.
Much of what we see every day in the media,
for example, is worthless and false.
It doesn‵t come from God, who is Truth;
it comes from Satan and the world.
And it doesn‵t last; it’s all vanity.

Look at the Word of God.
It is truth. It is God‵s treasure.
It will endure forever.
When we fill our lives with the Word of God,
we fight vanity. When we turn our eyes
upon the pages of the Bible,
we grow in truth and value
and are in touch with eternity.

You may say, “TV is just harmless entertainment.”
But so much of what you see goes right into
your mind and heart, making you cheap, false,
worthless and temporary. So much of what
the world offers is trivial, false and worthless.
Don‵t build your life on the world‵s foundations.
Build your life instead on the Word of God,
for it endures forever.

You may be a passenger
on board, or one of the crew,
but you definitely are not in charge.
The Spirit of God is now
in command of the vessel.

The reason we object to it being that way is

We want to boss our own lives. That is why we ask:
Are you sure that you want to be possessed by
the blessed Spirit of the Father and of the Son?
Are you ready and willing for your personality
to be taken over by someone who is like this?

What idea have you of the salvation of your soul?
The experience of salvation means that in your actual life
things are really altered, you no longer look at things
as you used to; your desires are new, old things have lost
their power. One of the touchstones of experience is -
Has God altered the thing that matters?
If you still hanker after the old things,
it is absurd to talk about being born from above,
you are juggling with yourself.

If you are born again, the Spirit of God makes
the alteration manifest in your actual life and reasoning,
and when the crisis comes you are the most amazed person
on earth at the wonderful difference there is in you.
There is no possibility of imagining that you did it.
It is this complete and amazing alteration that is
the evidence that you are a saved soul.
