你的家裡有設立禱告的祭壇嗎？你全家人包括你的父母、子女、僕人都信主嗎？還是有些人仍未認識耶穌？若從老到少都信靠主，那麼做父母的會多麼欣慰地湧出喜樂的眼淚！若尚未全部認識上帝，真是求上帝將這樣的救恩臨到全家！

或許全家歸主正是腓利門的心願。但我們得知有一個不誠實的僕人阿尼西母，曾因誑騙主人而坐監；但因主人不斷為他禱告，阿尼西母在獄中有機會聽保羅講道，深受感動，悔改後再度回到腓利門身邊，不但成為一個忠心僕人，也成為一個好弟兄。

你家中有沒有這樣一個迷途的羔羊？特別為這孩子迫切的禱告，期待他能早日信靠耶穌，好讓這消息安慰全家人的心。若家中設有禱告的祭壇，那更好，全家人可以一起為失喪的靈魂禱告，也把日常生活中各樣的瑣事，帶進禱告中，使信仰與生活打成一片。

家中若有禱告的祭壇、家庭的崇拜，這個家就顯得與眾不同，格外溫馨。不但家人關係和諧，緊密契合，就是外在的行徑，也給人聖潔，基督化的形象。願我們開放家庭，使這個家成為福音的據點，社區的明燈，耶穌的名被高舉，榮耀也歸給天上的父。
